Kenneth R. Roth is an educator, media producer, and nonprofit leader with 20+ years of experience in journalism, higher education, and organizational development. He has authored and edited influential works on equity and representation, taught at USC and CSU-Dominguez Hills, and directed media and nonprofit initiatives advancing community sustainability. His work integrates media literacy, education, and inclusive leadership to drive impact across sectors.


Kenneth R. Roth is an accomplished educator, media producer, and nonprofit leader with more than two decades of experience bridging scholarship, community development, and organizational growth. His career began in journalism, covering national and international news, before expanding into media production, digital strategy, and higher education. Roth has served as faculty at USC and CSU Dominguez Hills, teaching courses in media, communication, and organizational change. As an editor with Palgrave Macmillan, he has led multiple academic volumes on equity, representation, and higher education reform. Beyond academia, he has overseen community radio stations, advised startups, and directed media labs that empower diverse voices through innovative training. His nonprofit leadership includes service as Board Director of the Alega Preservation Institute in American Samoa, and Eco-Village Co-op in Michigan, where he advances conservation and community sustainability. Roth’s work consistently integrates education, media literacy, and inclusive leadership to foster lasting impact.
